Finally leaving!!!!

Well I will not be around until next week (really saturday) but don't worry i will have lots of pics and great stories to share with you all when i return!

We leave today for our homeschool conference in Big Sandy, TX.

My little man!

OOOhhhhh how sweet! In these pictures he looks like such a little man.

Someone asked if I put his hand like that on his head, but no I did not it was on his belly he got startled, his hand flew up to his head and there it sat from then on. lol

I kind of found myself thinking ahead to teenage years and seeing him just crashed out from all the work and fun. Just had to share these sweet pics of our sweet baby #3 (Job)

Campo Verde

More of our easter holiday....

Saturday night we went to our favorite mexican place to eat CAMPO VERDE. This place is the coolest they have real mexican food, decent prices and awesome atmosphere. 

They are in the guiness book of world records for most lights in a restaurant and has a train that runs along the ceiling of the entire place so that every table can see it. (my kids fav)

She loved that light, she would not swing it just touch it (her mom, Ashley just thought that was funny)

We had a great time, but hey we always do when we go to Campo verde!! I can't wait until we get to go back!!

well i am finally back

What an easter celebration we had, starting last friday ending on monday then with weather and computer problems tuesday and wednesday I am finally able to share all our happenings today.

so first things first....

Praise God for Dying for our sins, rising from the dead and ascending into heaven to be with our father and creator.

my hubbys sister and her family came into town for the holiday. My hubbys mother asked if we all would go to her church for their egg-stravaganza, it was a little chilly but we had a lot of fun 

they had their egg hunts split up by age groups, Will and my niece went first.

Great job Will!

They gave out tickets for cotton candy, hotdogs, chips and a drink. You see what we got first :)

Job had fun watching, he is a great people watcher, lol.

then we made sandy candy (pixie sticks) in colors representing growth, clean heart, Jesus' blood, sin and heaven. It was pretty cool!

master schedule explained

Blueberry Muffins

Well for kid time today(more on this tomorrow)  we made blueberry muffins today. It was alot of fun, although it was from a bag (I know someone gave it to me so I had to use it, most everything I do is from scratch but the kids loved it so who cares right) Will poured in the powder mixture Alyssa measured and poured the water then they both took turns mixing.

They said since kid time is me doing stuff WITH them i could put the mixture in the pan (they are so thoughtful) then i had to promptly give the pan back so they could "CLEAN" (with their little fingers) for me.

Kid Time is the best thing I have thought of for correcting bad behavior. I love my little acorns.(more on that later as well)

Mr. Frog

Daddy got a new lawn mower and went out early in the morning, he came in and told us to come outside and this is what he showed us. Meet Mr. Frog!

Will is still in his pjs and his mohawk is not fixed (we were still eating breakfast)

Alyssa wanted to look at it but not hold it but man Will just jumped right in there, he is all boy.

This is it and a day late!

This is it I call it the cuddle bug cover. It did not take that long to make it, the long part was  actually making the pattern. I hope to have my website up and running soon with this and more products on it for sale. Wish me luck!!
