Garage Sale find of the century!!!!!

Sorry we have been going nonstop these past few weeks, I have a lot to catch ya'll up on.

First, we went to garage sale and found this huge tub of geo trax train set, it was the full set with two remote control trains and at least 6 of the expansion packs.  Nick was not with me when I saw it and I did not want to get it until we talked (he has been wanting to get a train set to play with the boys and I did not want to get something that he would not like) I talked it over with him and at nap time went back and it was still there. we got it for $15.00 what find.

I sat it up while the kids were still napping to surprise them.  Man it was like Christmas morning to the kiddos.

I could not pry him away from this thing. He just kept saying, "thank you mommy thank you!"
we sat Job right next to it and every time the train would go by him he would get so excited. (this was another garage sale find this day, the purple bumbo, I know it is purple but hey it was a dollar vs. $40 for a new one)
grandpa and daddy did not mind it being in the middle of the floor. look how big we got it (it actually staid there for 3 days) (until I just could not take it anymore, I vacuum everyday and I was going bonkers!!)
He was so funny, if you look at the picture above this one you can see where he was sitting and then look at this one and where he is sitting now he would move with the train. hahahahha
I finally got him to get into the middle so all he had to do was turn around in a circle. silly boy

my first rude comment

So I knew it was going to happen, I have been reading Candys' blog for years and the comments that she receives are just horrific sometimes so I knew that when I started this blog that some people would just not be able to control their opinions.

Now I will not be doing this for every rude comment I receive but I thought this a historic event being that this is my first (and surely not last) comment like this. I also know that if I am serving God that I should expect persecution.

So here is the comment I received:
"Slightly concerned that someone who had made so many spelling and grammatical mistakes in their blog will be homeschooling.
I am a 26 year old primary school teacher and if my 12 year old students handed in assignments written the same way you write your blog I would be most unhappy."

For my concerned school teacher:
I thank you for your concern, I do agree that if I were writing a research paper or a book report I would need to be more aware of my spelling and grammatical errors however as it stands I am not I am writing my personal thoughts in a blog.

When writing a research paper or book report or anything else for that matter to be turned in to be graded you have certain rules you must follow. For a blog there are no rules, it is what you want it to be. Would you go to their diaries with a read pen? No. Because there are no rules for writing those.

With three kids and two home businesses that I run plus cooking and cleaning up I praise God and am just excited that I have time to share on this blog, so please excuse my hurriedness.

My dear teacher I pray you do not lose that keen eye you have for mistakes you will need in the line of work you are in, and know that I too will grade and correct my children accordingly when there are rules for them to follow.
