Now I will not be doing this for every rude comment I receive but I thought this a historic event being that this is my first (and surely not last) comment like this. I also know that if I am serving God that I should expect persecution.
So here is the comment I received:
"Slightly concerned that someone who had made so many spelling and grammatical mistakes in their blog will be homeschooling.
I am a 26 year old primary school teacher and if my 12 year old students handed in assignments written the same way you write your blog I would be most unhappy."

For my concerned school teacher:
I thank you for your concern, I do agree that if I were writing a research paper or a book report I would need to be more aware of my spelling and grammatical errors however as it stands I am not I am writing my personal thoughts in a blog.
When writing a research paper or book report or anything else for that matter to be turned in to be graded you have certain rules you must follow. For a blog there are no rules, it is what you want it to be. Would you go to their diaries with a read pen? No. Because there are no rules for writing those.
With three kids and two home businesses that I run plus cooking and cleaning up I praise God and am just excited that I have time to share on this blog, so please excuse my hurriedness.
My dear teacher I pray you do not lose that keen eye you have for mistakes you will need in the line of work you are in, and know that I too will grade and correct my children accordingly when there are rules for them to follow.

Oh. Lisa, you handled that well! I can verify that we homeschoolin' Mommas sure are under the microscope of the world! Just keep loving on those sweet little ones of yours. We really enjoy your blog, especially when you blog about places you are field tripping to, your blog serves as a little report and we get to see some new places. And thank you for your kind and encouraging words.

Keep pressing forward sweet Lisa. I love reading your blog. You are a wonderful wife, mom and teacher. There will always be people standing ready to criticize. You have to trust the Lord to show you priorities. It looks like you are doing that...blogs are just fun. It should not be something that you need to worry over and spend time perfecting. Just share your heart.
