Health Insurance, who knew?

I have a pace maker, did you know that? well i do. when Nick left the fire department he kept me on a cobra plan (health insurance) because i was pregnant with Job, well after I had Job the cobra plan stopped and for the time being i have no insurance.

today i called so many insurance companies and everyone of them denied me coverage because i have a pace maker. i have cried alot, i don't understand me being 26 years old and not being able to get health insurance for something that they put in me because they just did not know what else to do. everyone has been really nice about it saying they don't understand why they won't because i am not on medication for it and have not had any complications from it since day one of having it, and in the 7 years of being married i have only been to the doctor about 8 times not including the heart thing and having my babies.  

every company is saying that i am going to have to go to the state for help in finding insurance which pretty much means i will probably have to go on medicaid. which i do not want to do because my OB does not take that. and we want to expand our family, we want a very large family and i love my OB.  so tomarrow i will be on the phone again talking to the state trying to figure this out. wish me luck.
