now when first got pregnant with Job he started pooping in the potty which i hear is backwards to poop first and then start peeing but i just figured thats just us alittle backwards. lol so after a few months of that i trie to potty train him. i tried to do it just as i had done it with my daughter by just putting some big boy undies on him and asking every so often with the promise of candy when the deed was done. but by the fourth day of going through every pair of undies we had in that same day while only having given out 6 pieces of candy in the 4 combined days i gave up thinking that he was not ready.
when the time came to have Job i tried again with no avail. after i had Job we went to mississippi and visited family and everyone over there has boys so i started asking what they did because by now i knew that he was ready but i thought that i must not be doing something right because he just was not getting it. everyone i talked to said to set a timer for 15-30 min and take hime to the bathroom sit him down and tell him to try, that little boys have to be taught what the feeling feels like.
in all honesty i was not lookin forward to taking my Will to the bathroom every 15 min. but on thursday morning i changed my mind. but i did know that this was not going to be easy. so i got will into his big boy underwear and took him to the bathroom and sat him down and he did not want any part of that so then i came up with the idea of instead of waiting until he got the going potty part and then teaching to stand up to go ahead the do that and treat it like a game (which i knew i could talk him into playing a game, he loves games)
so that is exactly what i did i went to pantry to get some cheerios however we were out but i did have some old stale rice krispies so i filled up a jar and took it to the bathroom and i told will that he was going to put some ceareal into the potty and he was going to get to shoot the ceareal with his peepee just like a water gun and that everytime he did this he would get potty candy (a tootsie roll) he got really excited.
he did really well that first day only having 2 accidents, then on friday he had 3 accidents (which started calling "ooppsyy" so when i hear that i know i need to bring a towel. now this morning i fought him just to get his underwear on he kept saying he wanted to be a baby and wear a hinny (diaper) after about 15 min of this i finally told him that there was no choice he was a big boy and that it was not an option and low and behold he started telling me when he needed to go potty before the timer even went off and get this we went out to eat with some friends at lunch and i put a hinny on him for this and when we got back he went to his room and brought out underwear and asked if i would help him put them on!!! i about died from happiness.
we shall see what tomarrow holds

Potty training days are the days of the unexpected! Laugh a lot, and you will make it through!!
With #4, I just realised - AAAg never mind. He will not get married on a nappy....And eventually he potty-trained himself. OK, he was almost 4....
